Given.org provides SMEs with a fantastic opportunity to actively contribute towards a social or charitable project. Using the Facebook platform, given.org allows these companies to connect and sponsor individuals in supporting a common cause while also raising awareness of their contribution. It is a simplified, interactive and efficient gateway that allows SMEs to give as little or as much as they wish.

We do get Internet / WiFi access in the Conference / Weekend right?

The information about pitching an idea is available at http://www.launch48.com/weekend/

This information will also be included in the booklet. During the conference on Friday opportunities for people to practice their pitch will be available with feedback from past Launch48 attendees and speakers/mentors.

I suggest you make your pitch as compelling as you can, and covers the points other people would want to know. Unfortunately because of the number of pitches we are expecting and the short amount of time, we cannot have people use powerpoint but if you want to use paper/card/drawings/printouts you may as they have zero setup time!
